Free Dealing With Dementia workshop on March 31st

by | Mar 23, 2023

Are you a family caregiver that needs help with understanding dementia, managing problem behaviors, handling stress, or just finding time for you? The Salvation Army on Greenwood Avenue will be hosting a free and vital workshop on Friday, March 31st to discuss all of these issues and more.

People living with dementia need answers, as do their caregivers. The Dealing with Dementia Guide was created by the Rosalynn Carter Institute to provide answers needed throughout the caregiving journey. The Dealing with Dementia Workshops give access to this powerful Guide to family and professional caregivers. The workshop serves to introduce the caregiver to the information available in the guide so they can easily find what they need when they need it.

Pre-registration is required and seating is limited to 20 people. To reserve your spot, please contact Pat Giurgevich at [email protected] or (206)354-4413.

Date: March 31, 2023
Time: 1-5 PM
Place: Salvation Army Temple, 9501 Greenwood Ave N
