Clear skies predicted for tomorrow’s Hunger Goblin’ Trick or Treat & Food Drive

by | Oct 28, 2022

After a 2-year pandemic hiatus, the beloved Hunger Goblin’ Trick or Treat & Food Drive returns to Phinneywood this Halloween. For over 30 years the business district has hosted a daytime trick or treat the Saturday closest to Halloween, so dress up the kiddos and head out for treats galore!

This year we are thrilled to have over 45 participating businesses between 67th and 87th on Greenwood will be ready for you from noon-3pm on Saturday, October 29th. You can download a map of participating businesses here.

There will also be decorated donation boxes at several businesses throughout the district to collect healthy, non-perishable items to help support FamilyWorks and the PNA Hot Meal Program. Please remember to find some unused items in your pantries or make some special purchases at Ken’s Market for this great cause. In 2021, your efforts raised over 1000 pounds of food for those in need!
