Bluebird Ice Cream finds new home in the neighborhood

by | Dec 8, 2020

Way back in May, neighborhood icon Bluebird Ice Cream announced that they were not able to renew the lease of their home for the past decade and was seeking a new space in our community.

They were able to hang on through the Summer and now have found their new home, just across the street at the former Cookie Counter spot.

They are running various pop-ups, including noon – 8pm on weekends, but please check their Facebook page for updates.

Here is their announcement:

BIG NEWS-MOVING DAY: If you have been following along with us, you know that we were not given a long-term option to remain in our long-time home at 7400 Greenwood Ave. Given this sad reality, we can now announce that we will be moving directly across the street to 7415 Greenwood Ave!

BUSINESS AS USUAL AT THE STOREFRONT WILL BE SLIGHTLY INTERRUPTED while we get ourselves fully sorted. We’ll continue to give updates here.

LIMITED HOLIDAY SCOOP SHOP WILL BE POPPING UP in a temporary configuration at our new home 7415 Greenwood Ave. Stay tuned for more details. If this pandemic year wasn’t already difficult enough, this move represents quite a challenge for us. Thanks for bearing with us. We are immensely appreciative of your support. PLEASE HELP US SPREAD THE WORD OF OUR MOVE.

If you’d like to end the year on a sweet note, NOW is the time to stock-up on ice cream. And, gift cards are available online. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, thank you, thank you!
