Small fire at Phinney Flats draws large response

by | Nov 4, 2020

Phinney Ridge residents were a bit alarmed to see at least 4 fire trucks and 2 emergency response vehicles descend quickly upon the Phinney Flats building in the early afternoon.

Residents outside the building reported that a couch in a lower unit had caught fire and was quickly extinguished. The Twitter feed for the Seattle Fire Department indicated “6700 Block of Greenwood Ave N: Crews extinguished the fire. No injuries reported. Reducing response to a few units.”

Many thanks to our brave first responders!
