PADS for Parkinson’s: Training Dogs in Disease Detection presentation this Friday afternoon

PADs is the first program of its kind in North America to train dogs to detect Parkinson’s Disease. Today, PADs has 14 star bio-detection dogs in the program, all with an accuracy (sensitivity rating) of 90% or greater in their ability to detect this debilitating disease.

Program Director Lisa Holt will come talk about her ground-breaking organization, how the dogs are trained, how these dogs are helping scientists with their research, why early detection is so important, and how you can help.
