The primary election is around the corner in early August.
The Greenwood Community Council (GCC) is sponsoring election forums this Saturday at the Taproot Theatre, featuring the two city council races affecting Phinney-Greenwood.
The District 5 forum begins at 10:30 am, and the District 6 forum begins at 1 pm.

The forums will be moderated by Steve Scher, Chief Correspondent for the Town Hall Seattle Podcast In The Moment, host of the podcast At Length, and a contributing writer to Seattle Magazine.
This is a free event, however, the Taproot is generously donating their space, and the GCC will request donations to cover their costs.
There is no amplification in the Isaac Studio, but hearing assistances can be available on request.
Attendance has been high at other forums, and the theatre has an occupancy limit, so GCC advises arriving early. Theatre doors will be closed when there is no more room.
