PNA Hot Meal Program needs more volunteers

by | Jul 6, 2018

The PNA Hot Meal Program needs more regular volunteers for its Monday and Tuesday dinnes and Wednesday lunches.

Assistants deliver the work force to create, serve, and clean up after each meal the program provides. Monday dinner shift is 1 to 7 pm at the Greenwood Senior Center; Tuesday dinner shift is from 1 to 7 pm at St. John United Lutheran (across from the zoo); both nights can be broken into two shifts: 1 to 4 pm and 4:30 to 7 pm. Wednesday lunch shift is from 8 am to 2 pm at St. John United Lutheran and can be broken into two shifts: 8 to 11 am and 11 am to 2 pm.
We are especially in need of ongoing/regular volunteers (2-4x per month), and a 6-month commitment preferred. Volunteers must have/get a valid food worker card and pass a background check.
