Annual Seafair Parade next Wednesday to bring 100+ floats, drill teams, bands and community groups to downtown Greenwood

The 69th annual Greenwood Seafair Parade will bring 100+ floats, bands, drill teams and more to downtown Greenwood Wednesday, July 25.

Thousands of people line the streets for this official Seafair event, which travels down Greenwood Avenue from North 95th Street to North 85th Street, then heads west to 6th Avenue NW. It begins at 6 p.m. and usually ends around 8 p.m.

The Seattle All-City Marching Band.


This year’s theme is “In Our Own Backyard” and honors three active community volunteers as the Grand Marshals: Linda Hedlund, Michael Cook, and the Phinney Neighborhood Association’s long-time staff member Ruthie MacDonald.
