SPD: Police looking for two suspects who assaulted a woman who believed they were casing her neighbor’s home

A woman was assaulted after confronting two people casing her neighbor’s home near Greenlake last last month, and police are now seeking the public’s help identifying the two suspects.
Police were called to the 900 block of North 82nd Street on May 31st after the victim saw a man and a woman outside her neighbor’s house and believed they were casing the home for a future break-in.
The victim confronted the suspects and quickly became involved in a confrontation with the female suspect, who pulled the victim to the ground by her hair. The victim’s neighbors rushed to her aid and called police. The suspects fled toward Aurora Avenue.
The victim sustained cuts, bruises, a possible broken nose during the assault.
Police obtained surveillance of the two suspects, who were described as a black female in her 20’s, with bleached blonde and black hair, wearing a white hate, brown tan hooded jacket, jeans, and carrying two bags. She was accompanied by a white male in his 20’s with dark hair, wearing a black jacket, a white hooded sweatshirt, long tan shorts, carrying a black backpack.
