Comment through June 27 on any environmental concerns about project planned for explosion site at 8403 Greenwood Ave. N.

by | Jun 18, 2018

It’s time to comment on any environmental concerns for the housing and retail project planned for the Greenwood site where several businesses exploded due to a natural gas leak two years ago.

The project will take over most of the west side of Greenwood Avenue North between North 84th and 85th streets, although the building housing the much-lauded FlintCreek Cattle Co. restaurant will remain.

The new project will bring a six-story, 72-unit apartment building with ground floor retail and parking for 38 vehicles. The existing buildings at the south end (where Better Hearing, Kouzina and Insurrection Performance used to be) will be demolished.

You can email comment through June 27 to [email protected]. Be sure and reference project # 3025261-LU.
