by | May 23, 2018

The Phinney Neighborhood Community Chorus will hold its annual benefit concert for a Haiti school at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 16, at Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church, 7500 Greenwood Ave. N. Special guests include Izumi Fairbanks on drums, Eric Likkel on clarinet, and Claude Ginsburg on violin.

The concert is free but all donations go to the Georges Marcellus School through the Mona Foundation. The school educates 200 students, more than half of them girls.
The chorus has raised more than $100,000 for Haiti schools in the last 15 years. Last year’s concert raised a record $32,000 thanks to two anonymous $10,000 donors.
