Greenwood Community Council meets Tuesday to discuss cost of living increases, legislative session

The Greenwood Community Council meets tomorrow (Tuesday) at 7 p.m. at the Greenwood Library, 8016 Greenwood Ave. N.
On the agenda is a discussion about the recently-completed state legislative session with State Rep. Noel Frame (D-36th District), as well as talking points about why our cost of living is increasing so rapidly.
Rep. Frame will discuss recent bills that increased property taxes, Seattle City Light representative Scott Thomsen will describe how the new Advanced Metering initiative affects energy bills, and Seattle Public Utilities Project Manager Alexander Mockos will describe how Combined Sewer Overflow efforts affect utility bills.
