Metro Transit service is FREE all day today (Sunday)

by | Dec 31, 2017

Metro Transit is free for all regular bus and streetcar routes today (Sunday), as well as Access and DART service. The free rides are good until 4 a.m. Monday, when regular Sunday/Holiday fares kick in.

(Sound Transit is charging regular fares today, including on Link light rail and Sound Transit Express buses operated by Metro.)

Metro has added extra buses to its regular schedule on several routes to help get New Year’s Eve crowds to and from festivities.

Link Light Rail will operate an extra hour until 2 a.m. from the downtown transit tunnel, with the last train from Angle Lake at 1:30 a.m., and the last train from University of Washington Station at 2 a.m.
