‘Relativity’ opens at Taproot Theatre Sept. 20

Taproot Theatre ends its season with the period drama “Relativity,” running Sept. 20 through Oct. 21. It’s recommended for ages 12 and up.

In 1902 Albert and Mileva Einstein had a daughter. After 1904 she was never seen or spoken of again. Fast forward to 1948 – as an insistent reporter searches for answers to Einstein’s secrets, she discovers that not everything adds up.

The show’s cast includes Dennis Bateman as Albert Einstein, Candace Vance as Margaret Harding and Pam Nolte as Miss Dukas.

Discounted previews are Sept. 20-21, with opening night Sept. 22. Midweek matinees are at 2 p.m. Sept 26 (with post-play discussion, 2 p.m. on Oct 4, and 10 a.m. on Oct. 18 (with guided post-play discussion). There’s a Pay What You Can performance on Sept. 27.
