Hebrew School of the Arts opening in Greenwood in September

Chabad of NW Seattle, located in Ballard, is opening Hebrew School of the Arts in Greenwood this fall.

The school will be at 8420 Dayton Ave. N. Classes will be from 9:45 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Sundays and are for children ages 5 to 13 years old. Synagogue membership is not required.

“The goal of our school is to create a welcoming and dynamic environment where students are imbued with a warmth and curiosity for Judaism, all through our interactive, hands-on, and innovative lessons,” Rabbi Yoni Levitin said in a press release.

Registration is open now, and there’s a $100 early bird discount if you register before August 20.
