Gumshoe scavenger hunt raises record $7,350 for 3 neighborhood nonprofits

by | Aug 23, 2017

The Gumshoe 5K Walk scavenger hunt through the neighborhood raised $7,350.07 for three neighborhood nonprofits: Greenwood Senior Center, Greenwood Elementary School PTA and Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church Food Bank. That’s about $1,000 more than last year, which was also a record.

A group participates in the “Procrastishoe” on Sunday afternoon, just before the Gumshoe officially ended.

Gumshoe organizer Mike Veitenhans says more than 850 people participated in the Gumshoe this year. The Gumshoe has raised more than $56,000 for local nonprofits since 2006.

Check out the Gumshoe website for the prize drawing winners and clue answers.
