Single-family home at Phinney Avenue and North 65th to be replaced by four townhomes

by | Jul 13, 2017

The house at 6503 6505 Phinney Ave. N. will be demolished and replaced by two, two-unit townhome buildings (a total of four units) with no parking provided. The site is next door to Home Espresso Repair. (Editor’s note: This post has been updated to reflect the house number is 6505, although Seattle Department of Construction & Inspections lists it as 6503, which does not exist).

The project is under Streamlined Design Review, meaning no public meeting will take place. You can provide written comments about site planning and design issues through July 26 by emailing [email protected].

You can see the full design proposal here.

Update Friday: It appears there will be more multi-family units in the nearby houses. 6509 Phinney Ave. N. has nothing pending in DCI’s system, however, it is listed as part of the same King County Assessor parcel as 6511 and 6517. An application for redevelopment for 6511 was recently canceled, and 6517 has an application for 8 units and no parking, with Streamlined Design Review (meaning no public meeting). 6505, 6511 and 6517 are listed by DCI as having the same owner, Isola Real Estate.
