Champion Wine Cellars opened today at 8503 Greenwood Ave. N. Champion’s former location downtown was sold to make way for a development, so the former owners, Stephanie and Emile Ninaud, retired and sold the business to Erin Lyman and Suthap Manivong.
They’re planning weekly tastings on Saturdays and special tastings during the week when winemakers are in town.
Champion Wine Cellars will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday-Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Phone is 206-284-8306 and email is [email protected].
