Wednesday is national Bike to School Day, with thousands of students expected to bike to and from school in Seattle and beyond.
Please drive extra carefully on Wednesday, during the morning commute and in the afternoon after schools let out. Many kids are new bikers, so give them some extra room on the road, slow down, and make sure you don’t get distracted by electronics.
And May is Bike to School Month, so expect to see extra bikers on the roads and sidewalks throughout the month.
