Ladies Musical Club of Seattle is presenting seven free public concerts in March at various locations around town, including Greenwood. All concerts are appropriate for all ages and last about one hour, except for the concert in our neighborhood, which runs about 90 minutes.

The 7 p.m. March 18 concert at Music Center of the Northwest, 901 N. 96th St., will feature soprano Regina Thomas and pianist Maria Khavin performing music by Beethoven with a special opera presentation of scenes from La Clemenza di Titi (the Clemency of Titus) by W. A. Mozart, with five singers, a string quartet, piano, costumes, set and commentary. The program features an intermission and post-concert refreshments.
