Greenwood comedian Evelyn Jensen makes it to quarter-finals in Seattle International Comedy Competition

by | Nov 8, 2016

evelynjensen-comedianGreenwood comedian Evelyn Jensen was one of just a handful of female comedians who made it to the quarter-finals in this month’s annual Seattle International Comedy Competition at venues all over Puget Sound. Jensen was one of 32 competitors.

Jensen was born and raised in Minneapolis, but has been performing comedy in Seattle for the past three years. She also co-wrote/starred/directed the two-woman show “Blood Actually: A Morman Murder Love Story,” performs for various sketch projects around Seattle, regularly contributes to the podcast “Local Look,” and has performed at Bumbershoot.

Unfortunately, Jensen was knocked out of the competition this past weekend and did not reach the semi-finals. But hopefully she’ll be back next year.
