Choice Deli & Grocery at 65th & 8th completely remodeled, now serving Teriyaki, waiting for liquor license for 30 taps

Choice Deli & Grocery, formerly just a convenience store at the corner of NW 65th Street and 8th Avenue NW, across from Goodwill, just completed a big remodel that added 30 beer taps and now serves an extensive Teriyaki and hoagie menu, plus espresso.

They’re still waiting for their liquor license to be finalized, so the taps aren’t functional yet, but an employee told me today they’re hoping to have the license approved later this week. The store already serves a variety of canned and bottled beer.

Two seating sections are set up, on either side of the front door, plus there’s now outside seating. Teriyaki and hoagies can be ordered for takeout or to eat in.
