Taproot Theatre’s newest production is an adaptation of the musical “Big Fish” playing tonight (Wednesday) through Aug. 13, at 204 N. 85th St.

Every man wants to be a hero to his own son. Edward’s never been much of a dad, but as fantasy wages war with reality his tall tales of mermaids and giants may make his son a better man. Let yourself be reeled in by this adventurous and romantic musical based on the beloved novel and award-winning film.
