Shakespeare in the Park at Lower Woodland and Sandel Park this summer

GreenStage returns with Shakespeare in the Park at 21 locations this summer, including Lower Woodland Park in Green Lake near Phinney Ridge and Sandel Park in Greenwood. GreenStage will perform full-length productions of “The Merry Wives of Windsor” and “Cymbeline,” plus two “Backyard Bard” shows (abbreviated versions of an hour or less using just four actors for all the characters) of “Pericles” and “Twelfth Night.”

All performances are free but performers will pass the hat after the show.

  • “The Merry Wives of Windsor” at Lower Woodland Park at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 14; 7 p.m. Saturday, July 16; and 3 p.m. Sunday, July 17.
  • “Cymbeline” at Lower Woodland Park at 7 p.m. Friday, July 15; 3 p.m. Saturday, July 16; and 7 p.m. Sunday, July 17.
  • “Twelfth Night” at Sandel Park, 9053 1st Ave. NW, at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 31.
  • “Pericles” at Sandel Park at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, July 31.
