Bill’s on Greenwood sold to Bleachers Pub

Bill’s on Greenwood, a sports bar at 8560 Greenwood Ave. N. for the last 2-1/2 years, has been sold to Bleachers Pub, a sports bar that is losing its current space at 8118 Greenwood Ave. N. because the land was sold to the city to be developed into a park.

Bill’s on Greenwood will become Bleachers Pub by the end of June.

According to a press release by Bill’s on Greenwood owners Don and Colleen Stevens and Bleachers owners Shane Toupal and Loc Tien Nguyen, the city notified Bleachers nearly three months ago that it must be out of its current location by June 30.

Bleachers Pub’s current location, and the adjacent building, are being turned into a park.

The Stevens also own Bill’s on Capitol Hill and say they found themselves spread too thin between the two locations, so they were happy to sell Bill’s on Greenwood to an established neighborhood business.

Bill’s on Greenwood will close sometime next week, between June 26-30. Bleachers will reopen in that spot sometime in early July.
