Phinney Ridge Community Council hosts developer of 68th & Greenwood project on Jan. 5

by | Dec 24, 2015

The Phinney Ridge Community Council‘s Jan. 5 meeting will give residents the opportunity to meet with the developer of the proposed Phinney Flats at 6726 Greenwood Ave. N.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, at the Phinney Neighborhood Center, 6532 Phinney Ave. N. Kelten Johnson of Johnson & Carr Developers and Jay Janette of Janette Architecture will discuss the project from 7:30-8:30 p.m.

The proposal is to demolish the current building and replace it with a four-story building with 56 small efficiency dwelling units and three live-work units, and for Ed’s Kort Haus and Stumbling Goat Bistro to move back into the ground floor. No parking is proposed.

This is a good chance for the community to learn more about the project before the Northwest Design Review Board holds its second design review meeting on Monday, Jan. 11. That meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Ballard Community Center, 6020 28th Ave NW, in the Sunset/Captain Ballard Room. If you can’t attend the meeting, you can email comments on site planning and design issues to [email protected] by Jan. 11.

Design proposal documents are not yet online, but should be by 10 days before the Jan. 11 meeting. Click here to see detailed information on all permit activity, as well as PDFs of all documents relating to the project, including three dozen letters from concerned residents.
