Our neighborhood’s annual Hunger Goblin Trick or Treat at participating businesses is set for 12-3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31. Look for the Hunger Goblin posters in the windows, or just follow the crowds.
While a fun event for children, it’s also a fundraiser for the Greenwood Food Bank. Anyone in costume can trick or treat, but children are encouraged to donate either a can of food or $2 at various donation stations along Phinney and Greenwood avenues during the event, or at Umpqua Bank, 7120 Greenwood Ave. N., the week before. Those who donate will receive a special Hunger Goblin sticker to wear.
