Monkey ‘strippers’ needed to help light up Phinney-Greenwood

Earlier: Volunteers are needed to help attach light strips on metal monkey frames that will hang from businesses, awnings and light poles all over Greenwood and Phinney Ridge this holiday season.

“Monkey Strippers,” as organizer Mike Veitenhans is calling them, can come to a work party from 1-5 p.m. this Sunday at the Phinney Neighborhood Center, 6532 Phinney Ave. N., in Room 6; or a second work party from 12-4 p.m. Tuesday in Room 5.
