Now that Phinney Books has been open a few months, co-owner Tom Nissley says they’re starting to do more author readings and events.
Coming up next Wednesday, Oct. 22, the focus is on mushrooms. Beginning at 7:30 p.m., Becky Selengut (author of the new cookbook “Shroom”) and Langdon Cook (author of the Washington State Book Award nominee “The Mushroom Hunters”) “will present a patch-to-plate slideshow revealing secrets of the woods and kitchen.”
