Lightning destroys tree in Phinney Ridge early this morning

by | Aug 13, 2014

James tells us his neighbor’s tree was struck by lightning about 1:30 a.m. today, in the 100 block of North 60th Street in Phinney Ridge. He says the tree was more than 100 feet tall. It toppled onto several parked cars and knocked out a power line.
