More Holman Road closures this week

by | Jun 9, 2014

Seattle Department of Transportation will close the westbound lanes of Holman Road NW between 7th Avenue NW and Greenwood Avenue North starting at 8 p.m. tonight (Monday) for grinding and paving work. Traffic will shift to the eastbound lanes of Holman Road, where one lane will remain open in each direction. Paving work should be complete June 17.

SDOT will then pave the eastbound lanes, shifting traffic to the westbound lanes, until June 27.

Paving work is weather dependent, and scheduled dates are subject to change. Residents are advised that grinding is noisy and is scheduled to take place between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. on the nights of June 9 and June 18.

Metro will reroute Route 28 and RapidRide D Line off of Holman Road between 3rd and 15th avenues. Both routes will operate on nearby streets. Check out the specific route and bus stop details on Metro’s Service Advisories page.
