Update Wednesday: We have some sad news, unfortunately. Erica, who found the kitty, tells us the vet had to put her to sleep because she had liver and kidney problems.
Earlier: Erica found a green-eyed, black-and-brown tabby cat last Wednesday near Fremont Avenue and North 74th Street. It appeared to have trouble breathing, so on Thursday she took it to a vet, which said she’s a bit asthmatic. She was very friendly, but also very hungry and unchipped. She is now at Seattle Animal Shelter in Interbay.
