Greenwood Hardware, 7201 Greenwood Ave. N., hosts its first Ladies Night from 6-9 p.m. Friday with wine, chocolate, free T-shirts for the first 30 women, raffles, presentations and classes by local professionals, and a 20 percent off sale.
Works Progress,  115 N. 85th St., hosts Family Board Game Night from 6:30-9 p.m. Friday.
Seattle School Board Member Sherry Carr hosts a District II community meeting from 8:30-10 a.m. Saturday at Bethany Community Church, 8023 Green Lake Dr.
Sensory Story Time at the Greenwood Library from 10:15-10:45 a.m. Saturday for children with sensory issues.
St. Patrick’s Day Luncheon at the Greenwood Senior Center, 525 N. 85th St., at 12 p.m. Saturday. RSVP at 206-297-0875.
Couth Buzzard Books, 8310 Greenwood Ave. N., hosts Jazz First Fridays with New Ronin 4 at 7:30 p.m. Friday; Sing with Kate Power & Steve Einhorn at 12 p.m. Saturday; Greg Spence Wolf, Gary Reid and Friends in Concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday; and Kenny Mandell’s Music Improv Session with Randy Doak and Lamar Lofton at 7 p.m. Sunday.
Members of Sanctuary Church have organized a memory walk in honor of David Peterson, who was shot to death in Greenwood on Feb. 23. Meet at the Green Bean Coffeehouse, 8525 Greenwood Ave. N. At 8 p.m. Bring a candle or flashlight. The walk will pause for a moment of silence at the murder site by Mud Bay Granary, then end back at the Green Bean around 9 p.m.
And don’t forget that Sunday is Daylight Savings Time – spring those clocks forward by one hour!
