St. John gets shiny new dome

Saint John the Evangelist Parish at 121 N. 80th St. got a shiny new dome today. St. John School parent Chris Jarvis sent us several photos.
Here’s the crane and tower in this morning’s fog.

Here’s the 6,500-pound copper dome ready to be lifted into place.

And here it is being set in place.
