Seattle7Writers and Elliott Bay Book Company are hosting another gathering of prominent Seattle authors at a Book Club Brunch to benefit literacy programs.
The Sunday, July 14, brunch will benefit Greenwood’s 826 Seattle, a non-profit writing and tutoring program. The ticket price of $50 includes brunch, mimosas, and a $20 tax-deductible donation.
The brunch is at 10 am. at Greenwood Square, on the southeast corner of North 85th Street and Greenwood Avenue North (above Hummus Café – enter on 85th next to the bus stop).
Author Garch Stein will emcee and Whidbey Island mystery writer Elizabeth George will discuss her books and the writing life.

Seattle7Writers is a nonprofit organization that presents local literature to the community while raising money for 826 Seattle. Authors’ books will be available for purchase; a percentage of book sales also will benefit literacy programs.
