Chuck’s Hop Shop on the corner of 8th Avenue NW and NW 85th Street is hosting a fundraiser for New Dawn Guatemala from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday.
“New Dawn Guatemala” is a new local nonprofit to help Nuevo Amanecer, a community of repatriated refugees in Guatemala. Our mission is to support Nuevo Amanecer (New Dawn in Spanish) by providing scholarships, educational exchanges, and helping develop an independent, sustainable economy.
