Don’t forget that tonight is the first meeting of the 63rd Street Mural Project group. They’re working on a replacement mural for the underpass below Aurora Avenue at North 63rd Street. A previous mural there was repeatedly tagged with graffiti, then painted over by the city. The group wants to reclaim that now grey wall.
Tonight’s meeting is from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Phinney Neighborhood Center, 6532 Phinney Ave. N., in Room 3 of the Blue Building. Everyone is welcome to bring their ideas and enthusiasm to the project.
