Northwest Chamber Chorus performs ‘Fauré Requiem’ concert at Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church Saturday

The Northwest Chamber Chorus will perform “Fauré Requiem” in concert at Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church, 7500 Greenwood Ave. N., at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Special guest artists include: Douglas Cleveland, organ; Kathryn Weld, alto; Stephen Rumph, tenor; Glenn Guhr, baritone; Aaron Starkweather, boy soprano.

The highly regarded 40-voice Northwest Chamber Chorus under Music Director Mark Kloepper, celebrates its 45th Anniversary Concert Season with performances of two major works for choir, organ and guest soloists, featuring Requiem by Gabriel Fauré, and Rejoice in the Lamb by Benjamin Britten… Also featured on the program are There is an old belief, Songs of Farewell No.4 by CHH Parry, and Final, Symphony VI by Louis Vierne, performed solo by organist Douglas Cleveland.

Tickets are $22 general, $17 senior citizens, $12 Students and active singers. Purchase tickets online, by phone (206-523-1196), or at the door. Children ages 6-12 admitted free with accompanying adult.
