A Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) cement truck was involved in a multi-vehicle collision this afternoon on Aurora Avenue N at N 72nd Street. The vehicle was traveling northbound on Aurora Avenue N and collided with several nearby vehicles.
Currently, all southbound Aurora lanes are closed to through traffic at this location. Two lanes of northbound Aurora traffic are currently moving past the incident scene. The cause of the incident is currently being investigated. Once the on-scene investigation is completed, the vehicles involved will be moved and the roadway fully reopened to traffic.

Chris sent us this photo of the scene.
