Greenwood Elementary’s improved playground structure complete just in time for first day of school

by | Sep 5, 2012

Greenwood Elementary has a renovated playground structure, thanks to community support. PTA Co-President Shelly Deiner tells us that part of the playground was closed through August, but reopened yesterday.

We wanted to make sure the Greenwood Community is aware of our new playground and to invite children and families in the neighborhood to feel free to use it during nonschool hours. We also wanted to thank the Greenwood Community who has always been a huge support of our school both in volunteer and monetary donations. Without your support the playground would not be possible. It never ceases to amaze us with how giving our community is and with how much your support has brought many smiles to our children.
