2 pedestrians hit by truck in early-morning hit-and-run in Greenwood

Seattle Police say early Sunday morning two people in Greenwood were hit by a truck that sped off.
From the SPD Blotter:

This morning at about 1:45 am a pickup truck was reportedly travelling southbound in the 9000 Block of Dayton Avenue North. Two pedestrian were standing by their cars on the west side of the road, when the truck veered toward them and struck them. The vehicle first stopped, and then fled the scene driving southbound on Dayton Avenue N.
North Precinct officers responded and detectives from the Traffic Collision Investigation Squad (TCIS) were called out to conduct the investigation.
Both pedestrians are in their 20’s, and were treated on scene by Seattle Fire and transported to Harborview via Medics. While at the hospital, it was determine that the pedestrians were not as seriously injured as initially thought, but they will remain at hospital for additional medical assessment.
The driver/ vehicle are still at large and the investigation continues.
