A Community Project CrossFit (ACPC) is moving into the old Furnishments space at 7216 Linden Ave. N. Co-owner Amanda Righi, who lives in the neighborhood, tells us the 1,700-square-foot space will open next Monday.
ACPC will feature classes of about 10-15 people. Classes will be at 5:30 a.m., 6:30 a.m., 7:30 a.m., 5:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. During the day, they’ll have open gym time for anyone to stop by at the top of the hour to go through a workout together.
Righi says everyone is invited to try a free class.
Each one-hour class consists of a 10-15 minute warm-up, about 15 minutes of working on a strength or skill, then a 10 – 20 minute workout of the day (WOD) and finishing up with stretching. Our classes rely on kettlebells, weightlifting, gymnastics (e.g. pull-ups) and bodyweight movements (push-ups, sit-ups, squats, etc.) to increase each person’s strength and endurance.
A Community Project CrossFit (ACPC) is a fitness community looking to spread our love of lifting and living a healthy lifestyle. We want each member to look forward to walking through the doors each day ready to work hard, support your friends and feel great afterwards.
