Ruby Room selling gowns at PNA during Friday Artwalk

by | Jul 10, 2012

The Ruby Room, a non-profit which provides prom and homecoming gowns to deserving teens, is having its “Dresses for Divas” sale this Friday at the Phinney Neighborhood Center as part of the monthly Artwalk. The minimum suggested donation for each dress is just $10.

The dresses are either too mature for school-age girls or too casual for a formal dance, so The Ruby Room is selling them to raise funds to support its free services to teens.
Dresses for Divas will have a large selection of new or gently-used gowns and party dresses in all sizes and styles. Some have designer labels, and some are vintage. If you’re a fashion designer or fashion design student, you can choose from a selection of free gowns to “re-fashion.”
Dresses for Divas runs from 6-9 p.m. Friday at the PNA, 6532 Phinney Ave. N.
