Seattle Police report a 23-year-old man was shot in the knee on Sunday afternoon, but his story of how it happened doesn’t add up.
From the SPD Blotter:

On 5/27/12, at approximately 3:30 p.m., the victim called to report that he had been shot. The victim was located in the street in the 8600 block of Fremont Av N. He had a gunshot wound to the knee. He was treated on scene by Seattle Fire Department. The victim was conscious, alert, and to transported to Harborview Medical Center with non-life threatening injures.
The victim was less than cooperative and credible regarding his claims of having been shot at a gas station in the 800 block of N.W. 85. Further investigation contradicted his claims.
