Today was opening day for Varnish Salon at 7407 Greenwood Ave. N. It is co-owned by Cassie Coombs and Anna Wagner, who live just a few blocks away.
Varnish offers hair services, waxing, brow and lash tinting, manicures, pedicures, nail enhancements and shellac.
Coombs tells us Varnish is offering 20 percent off any service until the end of April. The phone number is 206-402-3668. Their website is not yet complete, but you can email them at [email protected].
They are not fully staffed yet, but eventually the salon’s hours will be 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
