North Seattle CoolMom is hosting a child car seat recycling event at the Phinney Farmers Market on Friday, Aug. 12. From 3-7 p.m., bring in your old car seat to 6532 Phinney Ave. N.
Your car seat should be recycled if:
- it has been in an accident
- is 6 years old or more
- has had its straps washed or bleached
