Tens of thousands of people walked along Greenwood Avenue North Saturday during the 19th annual Greenwood Car Show, enjoying more than 700 cool cars from all eras.
There were really old roadsters.
And rows of muscle cars.
This orange truck had a matching bike in the back.
This shiny green VW Bug had a cushy spot for Kermit the Frog and friends.
Kids enjoyed the old-fashioned fire trucks.
And this 1939 LaSalle hearse, named “Resurrected.”
The Greenwood Car Show is a fundraiser for the Greenwood Food Bank. Half of the car entry fees are donated to the food bank, and people were encouraged to bring non-perishable food to place in donation bins at the Car Show. We’ll share the total raised as soon as the Car Show organizers, the Greenwood Knights, tally it all up.
