The weather was perfect for Friday’s opening day of the Phinney Farmers Market, and the new market space in the Phinney Neighborhood Center’s upper parking lot was crowded with shoppers.
There was a long line for the guy making balloon animals, and he ran out of balloons before the end of the day.
But the crowds were thickest around performer Caspar Babypants (aka Chris Ballew of the Presidents of the United States of America), who played his bouncy kids music for two hours.
The Phinney Farmers Market is from 3-7 p.m. every Friday through Oct. 7.
