Happy ending to stolen art story

by | May 16, 2011

Last week we told you about a thief who stole a small painting off the wall at Tasty art gallery, 7513 Greenwood Ave. N. The painting was one of three in a series.
Well, Tasty owner Sheri Hauser tells us that a PhinneyWood reader who saw the story attended the Friday night Greenwood-Phinney Artwalk and bought the remaining two paintings by artist Joel Scholten, and commissioned Scholten to create a new painting to take the place of the stolen art.

Peter purchased the two yellow bird paintings in the background that were created by artist Joel Scholten.
Below is the stolen painting, titled “Heartless.” It is still missing.
