The Nazi-era play “The Beams are Creaking” continues at Taproot Theatre, 204 N. 85th St.
Monarch Duo performs its take on gypsy and klezmer music from 8-10 p.m. Friday at Empty Sea Studios, 6300 Phinney Ave. N. With Timba Harris & Hadi Karima Asil.
Singer/Songwriter’s Circle is from 7:30-9:30 p.m. Saturday at Couth Buzzard Books Espresso Buono Cafe. Host Val D’Allesso shares songs with guests Jennifer Spector, Dave Tilman, Jack Quick. Free.
